Education & Experience
Shane is one of our experienced staff accountants and has a keen eye for identifying potential tax issues, compiling Financial Statements, and preparing returns for our clients. He is well-versed in a multitude of different tax areas and is always looking forward to the next challenge that awaits around the corner - which is what's driving him to become a CPA. He has started taking on the role & responsibility of a client manager for some of our clients who require a more 'hands-on' approach.
A strong team member, Shane also has a foot in the door of BBE, as he is a bookkeeper for some of our non-profit organizations. He has become quite adept at handling tax notices and is well equipped to help anyone handle their business and personal tax needs.
Prior to joining the firm in August 2017, Shane was a manager at Vince's Sports Center in Newark. He kept this position as he was earned his Bachelor's in Accountancy at the University of Delaware.
Social & Community
When Shane is not in the office, he loves to watch the Philadelphia Phillies. Born & raised in Bear, DE, he is very active in his community and can be seen often helping & volunteering his time at the local St Peter’s Church events with fellow team members. Some of his favorite activities include going to the gym, enjoying the local beaches & playing sports with friends.
